Nairobi Business Ventures Ltd

NBV was incorporated by Mr. Vasu and Mr. Raj early 2012 as a distributor of KWANZA Brand Shoes.
The Company commenced its operations during June 2012 initially supplying in a small way to Deacons Ltd which had many brands and retail outlets in Kenya and EA Region.
Having understood the potential of leather products retailing business in Kenya and the region promoters of NBV developed the vision to promote local brands as against foreign brands domination.

Even before the opening of Village Market Shop NBV got an opportunity to acquire three shops owned by Service Shoes, a Pakistani Company a listed company in Karachi Stock Exchange closing its operations in Kenya due to their re strategies to focus on their 400+ retail outlets in Pakistan than 3 outlets in Kenya. Immediately NBV moved fast and acquired successfully running Service Shoe outlets in Kenyatta Avenue, Moi Avenue and Ongata Rongai and renamed them as Kwanza. As business continued NBV felt the necessity of having its own brand due to inconsistent supplies from Kwanza and to establish its own reliable supply lines. Though NBV want to manufacture its own brand locally which shall take some time it has successfully established its own brand KShoe and renamed its outlets as K Shoe – Leather Accessories.
